The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are a European Commission Funding Programme which supports researchers at all stages of their careers, across all research disciplines and in all employment sectors.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions ensure excellent and innovative research training as well as attractive career development and knowledge-exchange opportunities through cross-border and cross-sector mobility of researchers, to better prepare them for current and future societal challenges. They also aim to reinforce cooperation between academia and all types of non-academic organisations (companies, libraries, hospitals, public bodies etc.) in terms of research training, career development and knowledge transfer.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are a key part of Horizon 2020©, the EU framework programme for research and innovation, which will run from 2014 until 2020.The Irish Marie Skłodowska-Curie Office is jointly operated by the Irish Universities Association and the Irish Research Council. The office provides advice and support on preparing applications for Marie Skłodowska-Curie funding and the management of Marie Skłodowska-Curie awards.
We are also part of the Net4Mobility+ consortium which aims to facilitate transnational cooperation among NCPs for MSCA, upgrade their skills and tools in order to raise their standard of support, identifying and sharing good practices across MSCA in close collaboration with other EU networks.
Whether you are an Individual Researcher looking for a fellowship, a Principal Investigator seeking to build a European research network, or any organisation looking to develop their research capacity, there is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action for you.
