In the past two years, the IUA’s Future of Ireland series has hosted leaders from across Irish society. On 21 June, we were delighted to welcome Mary Lou McDonald T.D, President of Sinn Fein to our next Webinar. Educated in Trinity College Dublin, the University of Limerick and Dublin City University, she is no stranger to the sector. We heard Mary Lou McDonald’s insights and analysis on the challenges facing the third level sector and her vision for its future.

MC’d by Journalist and Broadcaster Louise Byrne, Mary Lou was also joined by panellists Danny McCoy, CEO of Ibec and Prof Pól O Dochartaigh, Deputy President & Registrar of NUI Galway.

Opening comments were delivered by IUA Chair and President of NUI Galway, Professor Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh.
