- Expanding mobility through physical, virtual and blended formats
- Deepening links between education, research and innovation
- Delivering civic and societal impact
- Advancing inclusion and widening participation
- Establishing sustainable long-term funding models
- Positioning alliances as strategic actors in European policy and competitiveness discussions
These themes formed the core focus of the 4th European Universities Initiative Forum hosted by Maynooth University during Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in July 2026.
