The Irish Universities Quality Board (IUQB) published its first issue of IUQB News in August ’06. It will be issued twice a year and is available in electronic format on the IUQB website: www.iuqb.ie. The newsletter is one of IUQB’s communication mediums to ensure that all t stakeholders: students, university staff, parents, prospective students, government, employers, professional bodies and the general public are kept informed about the range and extent of quality assurance in the Irish universities.
IUQB Second Print of 'Good Practice in the Organisation of PhD Programmes in Irish Universities'
Due to demand from stakeholders, the IUQB recently re-printed its booklet on ‘Good Practice in the organisation of PhD Programmes in Irish Universities’. The booklet has been used as a 'good practice model' both by Irish and international universities.
