I am delighted to announce that new developments have been implemented on the Job Opportunities extranet on the mobility portal. We have now made the system more user friendly for organisations wishing to search and view other organisation profiles and published job opportunities. If you have not already set up an account, please email me at mobility@iua.ie and I will organise access details for your organisation.

Please remember that if you want to upload/edit opportunities on the portal, you need to access/ log on to the extranet via the Job Opportunities box which is placed in the centre of the homepage "Job opportunities Organisations: Post your job opportunities here."

Since its launch last year, there have been 5847 job searches via the national portal
197 job applications
921 organisation profile searches
And 230 of our 1361 registered users have requested job alerts when a particular organisation uploads a vacancy.

The opportunities are uploaded onto the European Portal (http://europa.eu.int/eracareers/index_en.cfm) on a weekly basis. This is one of the most visited sites for researchers searching for opportunities and organisations searching for research personnel in Europe.
