To honour the achievements of Bill Harris as Founding General Director of Science Foundation Ireland and to mark his contribution to Ireland’s effort to put itself clearly on the world’s research landscape, a formal presentation was made to him by the IUA on Monday February 26th. The event, attended by university presidents, IUA staff and other guests took place in DCU, where Bill was presented with a framed scroll, produced by the communications dept of the IUA and signed by the 7 presidents.
