Horizon2020launch

Marie Curie Actions & EURAXESS Seminar

Thursday, 14th November, 2o13. 10.00 – 1.00pm, DCU Ryan Academy, Citywest, Dublin

Hosted by the Industry Research & Development Group (IRDG) this event will inform companies about the Marie Curie Actions and the new EURAXESS Business Interface.

Marie Curie Actions, which is funded by the European Commission as part of Horizon 2020, is a set of 4 funding programmes aimed at developing and training Research and Innovation staff across both the industry and research community in Europe.

• You can get top class researchers funded by the EU to work in your company on R&D projects whilst collaborating with other EU partners.
• You can get funding to enable you to exchange your Research and Innovation staff with other European companies and institutes.
• You can get individual researchers paid by the EU to conduct R&D in your company.

EURAXESS: Do you want to know of the funding opportunities available to your company to support your Research, Development and Innovation, within Ireland and Europe?

The new EURAXESS Business Interface is a growing resource that will tell you exactly what is available not only in your area but right across Europe. It also contains a large database of candidates seeking employment in areas of Research and Innovation, and facilitates companies to advertise their vacancies, and bring researchers to Ireland through a fast-track Immigration programme.

This event will feature a number of case studies from industry (large and SME companies) who have been involved in Marie Curie Actions and have used the EURAXESS resource to their advantage.

This will ensure guests leave the session with a solid understanding of the two initiatives and an equally strong sense of what is involved for companies who participate.
